We will provide a safe and optimal learning environment that meets the diverse needs, promotes the successful growth and ensures the maximum opportunity for each student to reach high standards of academic, career technical and social achievement. About Us Student Programs and Services provides direct services to assist students and to see that all children in Butte County receive appropriate educational services through alternative programs, educational services for the disabled, counseling, vocational training, juvenile court and community schooling, independent study and charter schools. This is accomplished by direct operation of special education classes for children 0-22 years of age who meet the federal, state and local criteria, services for those students who find it difficult to achieve their educational goals in a normal public school environment, and services for those students who require additional disciplinary support. Student Programs and Services includes partnerships that expand human, financial and program services with schools, public and private agencies.
